Original accessories / attachments

 Use only the accessories detailed in the operating instructions. The

use of attachments or accessories other than those recommended

here could lead to you suﬀering an injury.



Before ﬁrst use



Fitting the helical spring

 Insert the narrower end of the helical spring

into the opening

of the multifunctional holder

. Ensure that the outwardly bent

end of the helix points upwards and insert it into the recess provid-

ed for it in the multifunctional holder

(see arrow in Fig. B).

 Push the helical spring

into the opening as far as it will go.

 Turn the helical spring

clockwise to ﬁx the multifunctional

holder

in place.



Inserting / replacing soldering tips

CAUTION! DANGER OF BURNS! Allow the soldering

pencil to heat up without a soldering tip.

 Removal of a soldering tip

or a copper attachment

may only be done when the appliance has been switched oﬀ and

the soldering tip or attachment has cooled down.

 All soldering tips and attachments have a screw thread and can,

therefore, be easily and quickly replaced on the soldering pencil

Turn the soldering tip or attachment anti-clockwise to remove it.

Turn the soldering tip or attachment clockwise to ﬁx it in place.
